Have you heard meditation is a way to feel more peace in your life, to experience joy, or to alleviate stress? iRest Yoga Nidra is a profound meditation practice where you can experience true rest and restoration of the mind and body to its optimal functioning, simply by finding a comfortable resting position and listening to the guidance of your attention inward. If you are new to the practice of iRest Yoga Nidra or have experienced this practice before, this weekend Immersion will allow you to experience several practices of iRest Yoga Nidra, as well as Body Sensing and Breath Sensing practices for a deep rest you can feel in the body, mind and nervous system. We will also be discussing the neuroscience of how meditation affects the brain and nervous system, including the Polyvagal Theory. If you have ever wondered how to deal with arising emotions in your meditation practice or how to manage challenging or intense emotions in your life, this Immersion can help! We will be learning how to use these practices both on and off the mat to build emotional resiliency, soothe the nervous system when stressed, and understand how to relate to your emotions wisely and with compassion, in order to feel more connected with yourself and others. Do something different this weekend and join us to rest, restore and reconnect at the beautiful Mid-Pacific Country Club in Lanikai, Hawaii! Friday evening 6:00-8:00 PM, Saturday 9:00-4:00 and Sunday 9:00-5:00 Facilitated by the Integrative Restoration Institute and hosted by Warriors At Ease Taught by Dr. Jill C. Peterson, RYT, C-IAYT and Senior iRest Trainer
