Thursday 8:00am, Friday 5:30p Vinyasa/ Hatha style mixed intermediate class that challenges the body physically focusing on core strength and balance. A series of 22 postures in 50 min that flow together while using the pranayama breath to guide you through your practice. The class is concluded with a 10 minute deep relaxation/ meditation focusing on aligning the third (solar plexus), fourth (heart) and fifith (throat) Charkras. A yoga class that will prepare you to take on the challenges of the day stronger physically, mentally and emotionally.
Hatha Flow at Open Space Chinatown Fridays 12 – 1pm This all levels class teaches the classic yoga postures through a deep awareness of correct alignment and precise actions in the body. Clear instruction is given in breathing technique, warm-up and posture flow. New students will develop body awareness, posture alignment and core strength in basic poses, while experienced students are encouraged to explore advanced variations in familiar postures. Everyone works to his or her own ability and comfort level.
