Intro to TRX Yoga Conditioning is highly recommended prior to attending this class. Ready to stretch and strengthen? This combined discipline blends the core stabilization and strength enhancement of TRX with the flexibility and awareness of yoga. The suspension element of TRX conditions your whole body as a single coordinated system, rather than working to shape isolated muscles. This practice originates from your core! You cultivate balance, coordination and all-over fitness. Adding a vertical dimension by suspending part of your body, allows you to easily modify the intensity of your movements. You vary the load according to your body position. Your instructor helps you to either tone down or escalate the moves to meet YOUR needs. TRX Yoga Conditioning is designed to enhance conditioning for those who have already gained some core awareness and strength – whether through Pilates and/or plank type movements in yoga or other fitness and athletic disciplines. This class is great for cross-training and can also help train you for success in aerial classes!
