Come bring your keiki to dance and have fun with Shai Segre! By focusing our attention on our emotions, connections, friendships, movement and music, we promote positive growth in all of our lives. Kids movement healing gives young hearts the opportunity to explore their deep authentic self and develop confidence to express it in their own special way, all in a safe and playful environment. In the workshop, we will explore our body movements through interactive games, stories, creation and yoga. We will work in groups, partners and individually to develop self expression, self confidence, and a healthy balance between hearing and being heard. Dance and movement constitutes a “pleasure double play.” Music stimulates the brains reward centers, while dance activates its sensory and motor circuits. School age children 5-13 (if younger, child must be mature enough to follow a structured class set up, and behave. This is not a “Mommy and Me” class). Every Thursday in July and August (7/12, 7/19, 7/26, 8/2, 8/9, 8/16) from 4-4:45 PM. $15 per session or $65 for all 5 sessions.

Come join us in the incredibly beautiful and most sacred of locations on the northshore of Maui. Here we will re-visit why we do what we do, the roles we play for so many, and the journey we are all personally on… together. We will learn new tools to use for others and ourselves. We will dance, sing, probably hug and cry, laugh, and hopefully find ways to go back home to do more, do better. We will eat nourishing vegetarian food and will harbor together in a most magical place… where flowers, vegetables, birds, kindred spirits, and the ancestors co-exist happily with the crashing waves of the Pacific! Our days will be filled with many opportunities to replenish you both inside and out. Each day will blend self-reflection, meditation, movement, and various healing modalities to learn, to use, and to build upon. More specifically each day will provide three classes or sessions in a combination of: Yoga (many lineages including Iyengar, Anusara, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Acro) Dance (e.g. Prana Shakti, sacred, salsa, hula) Body and energy work (such as reiki, lomi lomi, thai massage, other energy work) As well as meditation, self-reflection, Ayurvedic guidance, chanting, Hawaiian healing, building your intuition, and diving into yourself. There will also be plenty of time for enjoying the saltwater pool, hot tub overlooking the wild Pacific, or reveling in your own quiet reflection. Come join us!
